Like you, I have a huge collection of necklaces. Finding ways to keep them organized can be expensive but, who needs a jewelry box when you can make your very own necklace holder out of a twig, wire and some yarn. Not only is it fun to make but it becomes a woodland piece of art for your wall.
Step one: Supplies needed: Yarn, wire, wire cutters, twig
Step one: Supplies needed: Yarn, wire, wire cutters, twig
Step two: Cut a piece of wire long enough to reach both ends. Cut at least a extra 5 inches to allow enough wire to wrap around the each end of the twig. Wrap wire on end of of stick several times to secure it. Cut a piece of yarn long enough to wrap the wire (depends on sized twig). Better to cut to much than to little.
Step three: Do a X shape from front to back with the yarn to secure the wire (repeat several times then tie knot). Use remainging yarn to wrap around the wired arch until reaching the other side. On the other side do a X shape ( repeat several times then tie a knot).
You are done! That was easy wasn't it? Now you have a urban necklace holder that you handmade yourself.
